Royal Festival Hall Performance

Reception Class and Class Six were invited along with Miss Scade and Mr Scott to demonstrate a music lesson using the Voices Foundation methodology at the Royal Festival hall!

As a Voices Foundation Beacon school and a Sing Up Gold award holder, we were in our element.

In fact, we were asked to perform twice, in different parts of the Southbank Centre – but performing on the Royal Festival Hall stage was by far and away the highlight.

Whilst we were performing Suzi Digby, Baroness Eatwell (Founder of the the Voices Foundation) was talking in the huge Queen Elizabeth Hall about our school and its commitment to singing.

An audio recording of our performance was captured and put on the internet by some of the Festival’s co-contributors the very same minute. It is on our Twitter Feed.

There is a video of Reception class singing there, in glorious HD, on Reception’s Blog.
