Inspired by Quentin Blake’s illustrations, we made our own Marvellous Medicine and used adjectives to describe each of the ingredients. We had slimy worms, colourful bugs, bubbling soap and much more…!
Month: September 2014
George’s Marvellous Medicine
Our class text this term is George’s Marvellous Medicine. We have already started to read the first part of the story and we are all very excited to learn more about the characters and plot. Lots of our writing this term will be inspired by this book.
We will also be learning more about Roald Dahl and his other stories. Throughout September, to remember Roald Dahl’s birthday, there are lots of activities to get involved with on his website. Here is the link to find out more.
Please leave a comment, thinking about the following questions:
What ingredients would you put in your own Marvellous Medicine?
What other Roald Dahl stories do you know?
Can you use some adjectives to describe Grandma?
