In our science lessons this half term we have been exploring all of our 5 senses. We have had some great lessons focusing on sound, smell, touch and sight. Here are some photographs from an interesting lesson we had where we explored our sense of sight. In pairs, one person closed their eyes whilst their partner had to direct them around the playground. We then discussed how we would feel if we lost our sight and what we would miss seeing. We had a very fun lesson!

It’s great that children in class 1 are so enthusiastic to share things with the class! Class 1 will be having show and tell once a week- every Wednesday before hometime. Please do not encourage your child to bring in things for show and tell on other days as this can become difficult. Children are welcome to bring in items that are special to them such as shells collected from the beach, photographs or something they have made. Please do not encourage your child to bring in toys from home for show and tell. Thank you!
