Our class assembly

A big well done to everyone in class 1 for a fantastic class assembly on Tuesday. All children remembered their lines and spoke clearly for everyone to hear. We worked very hard on our ‘I’m special’ song and it sounded amazing on the day! Great work class 1- I was very proud of you all!

The history of toys in class 1

In history this half term class 1 are looking at changes within the living memory. We have started our topic by looking at changes to toys where we looked at and compared differences between old and new toys. Thank you to all the parents who helped by giving their child an old toy to bring in and share with the class. It was great to also see some more current toys to help us look at differences. We had a really fun session yesterday sharing our toys.

Creatures in Cathedral School!

Wow! What an exciting time we had yesterday in class 1. We were lucky enough to go and see some really exciting (and scary) animals which came to visit Cathedral School. Class 1 were given lots of interesting information about some of the different animals which came into school and even got to stoke and touch them. We had to make sure we gave our hands a really good wash afterwards! Here are some pictures from our exciting session with the creatures which came in to visit Cathedral School. Enjoy!
