Class 1 had a great time at their Christmas party yesterday! There were some great party outfits and children showed off their best dance moves. Thank you to parents for all your support over this busy Autumn term.

Class 1 had a great trip this week. We visited the Discover centre in Stratford which is a children’s storytelling centre where we were able to do lots of different activities. Children made their own Christmas decoration and sang some songs in the ‘Ready Steady Colour Christmas Feast’ session. A big well done to class 1 who travelled so sensibly to and from Stratford on the tube!
During art this half term we have been exploring patterns. We looked at some artwork by William Morris and Reymond Romero and discussed what we like about them, including the different colours, materials and textures which they’ve used in their work. We then attempted our own pieces of patterned artwork using oil pastels, take a look at some of our pictures and leave a comment!
Class 1 did a brilliant Gamelan performance a few weeks ago, well done again! Thank you to all the parents who came along. Please enjoy the video below and leave your comments.
