We had a great trip to the V&A Museum of Childhood last week. Children found out about a range of toys from the past and enjoyed their time playing with them whilst asking questions about how they were made and how they differ from our toys today. Class 1 were also lucky enough to explore the rest of the toys and games in the museum before we left! Take a look at some of our photos from the trip.

Class 1 had some excellent character costumes for World Book Day. There were children dressed up as Harry Potter, The Gruffalo, Cinderella, The Tiger who came to Tea, Fantastic Mr Fox and many more! Thank you to parents for putting such effort into your children’s costumes. Class 1 also made a list of their favourite stories and produced some great work for our display.

   

Class 1 made their own games using a program called Purple Mash at the CLC last week.

Class 1 had a great time yesterday on their first trip to the CLC. Children were able to explore how games are designed and created- and then had a chance to create their own! Each child designed their own maze, characters and even sound effects to go with their game. It was all very exciting! Take a look at some of our pictures below.
