Assembly song

Dear Class 1 parents,

Please find the assembly song below for children to practice. I have also uploaded the lyrics.

Please practice at home for our assembly on the 15th November.

Thank you!

I’m sitting calmly on my seat,
As that will help to keep it neat.
My feet are flat upon the floor,
I’m sitting straight, hold on, there’s more!

Always start a sentence with a capital letter.

A finger space between each word will look a lot better.
Read what you have written, starting from the top
And don’t forget to end it all with a full stop.

Well I’ve got something good to say!
I’m gonna write it down today
I’ll use my sounds to help me spell
So that my writing turns out well

Always start a sentence with a capital letter.
A finger space between each word will look a lot better.
Read what you have written, starting from the top
And don’t forget to end it all with a full stop.

A finger space between each word
Will help to stop it looking blurred.
I sit my letters on the line,
So I feel proud this work is mine!

Always start a sentence with a capital letter.

A finger space between each word will look a lot better.
Read what you have written, starting from the top
And don’t forget to end it all with a full stop.
