Stars of the Week: Sebastian and Olivia
Class 1 have enjoyed exploring some lovely poems this week. Children have done a lot of work on reading poems, finding rhyming words and writing their own poems. Class 1 looked at poems in the poetry book ‘Heard it in the Playground’ and we read some of these as a class. Children also explored rhyme in other well known children’s books such as The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson.
