Stars of Week: Kavalli and Nyra
This week, Class 1 made beautiful houses for the display of Once in Royal David’s City in the school hall. We used our learning about Kandinsky to add a colourful twist to our designs.
Using oil pastels, we drew patterns, lines, and shapes on the paper houses. Once our patterns were complete, we brought in a splash of extra colour using watercolors. The oil pastels resisted the paint, creating a magical effect that added depth and texture to each house. Thank you to Margaret who helped put all the houses together to form a city!
