Stars of the Week: Lilian and Nia-Leigh
This week in Geography, we have been continuing our topic of place and location. We have been learning about how our world is divided into seven continents. We had a lot of fun using a song to remember the continents. Then, we practised how to locate them on Google Maps. The children discovered that London, which is in the UK, is part of the continent of Europe.
The festive season has also arrived in Class 1 and we’ve been busy decorating our classroom to get into the Christmas spirit. The children have worked together to create beautiful paper snowflakes and ‘handmade’ (literally) wreaths. Thank you to Margaret for putting up all the decorations!
