Have you ever been to the seaside in the UK?
Where did you go? What was it like? What did you do? What did you eat?

I have so many fond memories of the seaside when I was little. I remember having races with my brothers across the wide sandy beach and chasing my dog into the sea as the waves splashed around us. One of our favourite things was searching in the warm rock pools and finding crabs and tiny fish that have been left behind when the tide went out. When the rain came down we would retreat into the shelter made by the caves in the cliff faces or rush across the beach to have fish and chips and ice cream for lunch.
When we got slightly older we loved to bodyboard, bobbing up and down in the waves as we waited for a big wave to surf on as it rushed towards shore.
Now I have children of my own I enjoy watching them making giant sandcastles with friends or playing hide and seek in the giant, soft and warm sand dunes at Camber Sands.
I went to the seaside once but it was very cold…I had fish and chips for food. I remember collectig lots of pebbles
I remember all coloured deck chairs, lots of beach huts and seafood stalls. Going to the beach was a very rare treat where we always had lots of fun.
I went to The Isle Of Wight with my nanny and we ate fish & chips with ice cream for dessert. Next we built sand castles and stripped of our clothes to go swimming. Afterwards we skimmed stones into the sea and ran away from the tide! We had so much FUN at the beach!
When I went to the seaside,Grace and I played a game called running.Running is a game where you run to the water and run back to the shore.Afterwards I had a ice-cream.I chose chocolate flavour and I really liked it.
I like playing in the sand I also went a long time a go I think it was in 2013 it was so much fun. Maybe I’ll ask my mum or my dad if I could go there again

When I went to the seaside I went on a boat where you can slide down a slide.I did get sea water in my mouth!!
The seaside is very fun and has lots of people and lots of crabs.
I like the seaside because there’s lots of new things to see . I’ve been to two seas the Algers one and the Bournemouth one.
