Class 2 will be studying famous illustrators in their Art lessons during Su2. They will have the opportunity to create their own illustrations to accompany the parables they will be learning about in R.E. and Literacy.
One of the most famous illustrators ever is Quentin Blake who drew illustrations for most of Roald Dahl’s books. It is difficult to imagine Roald Dahl’s books without thinking about Quentin Blake’s drawings.

Aaron Becker is another famous illustrator. He is an author-illustrator which means he writes stories through his drawings. There are no words in his stories, only drawings, which means the reader has to think for themselves what is happening.
