Stars of the Week: Astrid and Ethan

In science, Class 2 have been using different types of scientific enquiry to ask and answer questions. This week, Astrid thought really carefully about our investigation into patterns in the way things grow, and Ethan used information books with great curiosity to find out more about the lifecycles of insects. The independent thinking and in-depth questioning was really impressive, well done!

Keep it up, science superstars!

We explored the question, ‘Do all apples have the same number of seeds?’
The class then came up with further questions about the way fruit grow and spotted some wonderful patterns in the centre of the apples.
Ask a grownup to help you cut an apple this way. Do they all have the same pattern inside?

What other questions can you come up with?
