We worked in groups to gather ideas and discuss how to present our very own made-up hotel!

We knew that our task was to make the presentation interesting and appealing to our audience. Using ambitious vocabulary and making sure we varied sentences, helped us with this.

We learnt how to work in groups and decide who was going to take which role within the group. We decided that the best way to do this is to make a fair decision or have a group vote.It was great watching each group present. We really worked on eye contact, body language and projecting our voices.

It was a really exciting week this week!

 

We showed the school, plus parents and carers, our very own class assembly. The assembly showcased all of our hard work during World Faiths Week – please see our earlier blog.

 

We were quite nervous having put a lot of practice into making sure we spoke clearly and loudly, so everyone could hear. We introduced ourselves and asked questions to the audience. We also sang our mantra song. See photos of our assembly below.
