Well done Year 3 on creating wonderful homework projects. The work produced is outstanding! Year 3 have spent the last term working on homework projects of their choice based on the theme: ‘One Day in History’.
Children created written work, excellent images and used ICT to research and produce presentations. Homemade models also supported their projects.
Topics chosen include:
- Armistice Day
- The wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
- Harriet Tubman’s freedom
- The day the telephone was invented (Alexander Graham Bell)
- The day the world wide web went live
- Neil Armstrong landing on the moon
- The Great Fire of London
- The coronation of Elizabeth I
The children had an afternoon working in groups with Year 5, to share projects and to take notes on their group’s work and any next steps for development.
It was an excellent afternoon of collaboration. I’m very impressed with the hard work, dedication and creativity shown by all the class. Well done Year 3, you continue to shine in all you do.
