Class 3, footballing superstars!

Well done Class 3. You were brilliant at the football festival held at the Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Sports Centre this week. Class 3 came 3rd 4th and 5th out of 16 teams in Southwark. You all worked so hard and it is clear there are some budding football stars in the class.

Particularly, well done to the children who showed a fantastic positive attitude during the day, always shaking the hands of their opponents and showing excellent sportsmanship at all times.

Here are some pictures for you to enjoy:

Displays bring creativity to Class 3

Class 3 would like to show off their displays. We try to create engaging displays that are as interactive as possible.

This is what we do with displays:

  • Add our ideas with post-it notes onto working walls.
  • Describe books we like to read with book reviews.
  • Create reading posters at home, to show our classmates why we love to read!
  • Come up with our own ideas – such as a fish scene for our ‘target’ display.
  • Feel things to help us learn, such as, when describing properties of rocks.

How do these displays help your learning?

What do you like about the displays?

Do you have any ideas for new displays?

Well done Class 3!
