Well done Class 3. You showed off your wonderful myths today by acting out your mythical stories. You made it very clear that you understand all about the features of myths and how to make a story exciting with magical happenings and interesting characters.

You showed fantastic acting skills with body language and clear voices.

We are very lucky. We were asked by Southwark Cathedral to plant bulbs in a wooden cross-shaped box. We planted beautiful crocuses which will flower in Easter. We are very excited about seeing the colours of the plants. We were led by Southwark Cathedral who told us all about Easter and the importance of new life to symbolise Christ rising.

 

We are very excited about seeing the flowers in bloom.

 

 

 

 

 

Class 3 had a really exciting visit from Reptile Life. During the visit, we got to learn all about: pythons, raccoons, meerkats and tortoises. We learnt about the habitats of the different animals and also got to touch some of them.

We are fortunate because we have linked this to our science topic which focuses on the foods eaten by humans and animals. We followed-up the Reptile Life lesson by researching further about the reptiles and foods that they eat.
