We have been thinking about how we can describe the setting for our Traditional Tale. The story takes place in the African Savannah. We focused on using ambitions adjectives, verbs and adverbs to create a picture in the readers mind and help the imagination run wild! Here are some of the sentences we are really proud of….

Book week!
Last week saw the whole school celebrating book week 2014. What better way to celebrate the joy, fear, happiness and excitement that books bring us than by dressing up as our favourite book character?
We had a selection including dragons, Harry Potter, Oliver Twist, Mr Stink and many more! Even Bilbo Baggins joined us after a trek from Bag End to Cathedral School!
A great time was had by all and we were all very enthusiastic about our favourite books and characters.
