We were lucky enough to visit Buckingham Palace for a creative writing session last week. It was incredible to see inside the palace and we even got to visit areas that were off limits to the public! We walked through several of the state rooms as well as looking at a collection of toys given to the Royal Family as gifts, they were so exquisite!
The state rooms were decorated with gold and other lavish materials and some even has secret entrances!
What would you like to do if you went to Buckingham Palace?
Buckingham palace was the best trip in the whole world! We were there because we had to do a writing course, and we got to look at the state rooms! We were the last school of the year to go there and the first class of the school to go to Buckingham palace! It was amazing but we didn’t get to see the queen because she was in Scotland!
I really enjoyed learning about the past and present of Buckingham palace !
I think all of us enjoyed the trip because no one in the school has been there on a trip with the school.I also think the two helpers were really kind.
It must have been amazing to visit Buckingham Palace with all the soldiers! Did you notice that the flag was up? That means that the Queen was in! It looks fantastic it even looks amazing on the pictures! I would love to be there.

Going to Buckingham Palace was amazing, my favourite part was when we went and saw the royal gardens. Do you know that it has 775 rooms! I really hope that the school gets to go on lots of trips like this again.
