Projects – Somewhere Special

This year’s selection of projects was fantastic. Such a range of different places, special to each of us for a reason. All the hard work and effort paid off and everyone was really proud of their work when they presented it to their peers.

You should all be very proud of your work and what you have achieved, well done!

Easter Children!

Class 4 recently performed our Easter Children performance in front of parents, carers, friends and family at Southwark Cathedral. We worked super hard over the last 5 weeks to make sure that it was a performance to be proud of. It was a fantastic experience and was enjoyed by all.

What was your favourite part of the performance?

Our visit to the BFI

Recently we were very fortunate to work with the BFI and Southwark Cathedral to produce an educational documentary all about the cathedral.

The documentary will be featured on their website for children to watch before attending educational sessions at the cathedral.

We were able to go to the BFI for our own private screening of the documentary! It was great seeing the final outcome of all our hard work!

Book Day 2015

So today we celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as our favourite book characters. There was a great range of characters from a variety of books, both modern and classics.

We had a selection of books to hear read to us by the teachers, so we picked the one we liked the sound of and off we went, to a land of imagination and adventure!

We hope you enjoy the pictures! What was your favourite part of book day?

(For those children who listened to The Lost Thing, here is the short animation adapted from the book).
