Class 4 become expert puppeteers for D&T week

Well done Class 4. You really did create excellent Rod Puppets for D&T week. I was extremely impressed with your creativity and design ideas, in order to produce really interesting puppets.

Your plans clearly considered how you could efficiently and effectively design and create puppets. And, look how wonderful they are.

The puppet shows and puppet presentations were also super.

A very successful week, well done.

The best thing about DT week was doing our puppet show at the end. Me and Isaac both did ninjas. He was Ben Kushun. The usual black outfit. I decided to be a bit more experimental with Dragon Eye. He was dressed in the jungle outfit. Green with a shukiren ( ninja throwing star ) eye instead of a green one. It could be ejected!

It was fun making rod puppets (even though at first mine went wrong). At the end they all looked great. We made puppet shows with them but someone’s puppet fell apart (uh-oh). I was working with Amaan, Glennis, Isaac and Albert. Everyone made up their own parts so it was fair. DT week is one of my favourite events at school.
