Stars of the week: Krislyn and Cameron J
This week in Class 4 we have been looking at how we can improve our setting descriptions for our Viking sagas. The children discussed the different powerful adjectives and expanded noun phrases we could include to give our setting more imagery. Krislyn and Cameron J worked really hard to build on their previous settings and included some great adjectives to describe some of the senses.
In History, we have been creating some dramatic newspaper reports about the battle on Lindisfarne. The children came up with some great headlines for their reports, such as ‘Vicious Violent Viking Victory’, ‘Vikings damage discovery’, and ‘Brave brilliant battles’.
