THE SHARD!

Years 4, 5 and 6 went to The Shard today!

Many of the class could see their homes, and we saw the infants spelling out ‘Hi!’ to us from the playground. Here are some of our excellent pictures, in 3 categories!

ANCIENT GREECE

 

Can you find Greece on a map of Europe? Can you locate it on a map of the world?

Class 5 will be focusing on Ancient Greece this term in our Literacy, Art and History. We will be looking at their artefacts and making a mask to perform Greek theatre, investigating the characteristics of Myths and Legends (particularly the Trojan Wars), and finally looking at Ancient Greek society and culture in History.

Can you suggest any aspects of Ancient Greece which you would especially like to know more about?
