I have learnt that the internet is dangerous and that you can easily get emotionally hurt; I have also learnt that you should never meet up with someone you don’t know without an adult because it is very dangerous. I have also learnt about cyber bulling, it is a type of bulling but done online. If some is caught doing it they will be in very serious trouble.

I know that you shouldn’t share personal information because other people can find you, putting you at risk. Also you need to not open unfamiliar links as they might have a virus which means that they can control your computer and it is easier for them to hack you.

I have learnt that you should never give any personal information online. You could get offended by Cyber Bullying. If you give your personal info people can track you down. You should only chat with friends and family in the real world not the virtual life. Never use your real name when playing video games such as Minecraft or Terraria.
REMEMBER: ZIP IT – BLOCK IT – FLAG IT

I have learnt that you should not accept any friend requests if you do not know the person as that could lead to cyber bullying. Instead you should tell an adult and if you will not say something bad to someone offline you should not say it online.

I learnt to never give your personal information e.g. phone number, where you live and how old you are. Also, if a stranger online sends you a link, never open it! It can lead to a virus or a nasty message!

I have learnt to never open unknown links, websites or pop ups as they may bring a nasty virus to your device or they may control your device. Never tell your own personal information as others may use it to their advantage and mess with your personal life.

I know that when I am online I should not talk to people I did not know as they may be big people. I also know not to open files that I do not know because they may contain nasty messages or bad viruses which could take over your computer and the person who sent it could go through your files and personal information.

Today I learnt that sharing your private details like your name, age, school details and address can be dangerous. If someone asks you to meet in the real world don’t go unless you are sure about them and if you do go you should be supervised by an adult. Today has really helped me understand e-safety and cyber-bullying.

Sometimes I get scared putting my name on game accounts or social sites just because I don’t like people knowing my identity. But now I know how to stay safe on the internet.

I enjoy using the internet but sometimes its hard to avoid bad things. From now on, I will try to avoid unknown links that are linked to my computer. A good way to understand E – Safety is to use our code.

Zip it – Keep all your information to yourself when using the internet and that includes your full name, address and postcode.

Block it – Block unknown links from your computer and make sure you know what you are opening.

Flag it – If someone is upsetting you online, always tell a trusted adult. Cyber bullying is the same as usual bullying.

I learnt that if you don’t know the person you are talking to, you should not, for example, invite them to your house as you don’t know who they are. It you are getting cyber bullied you should definitely tell a parent as they will know what to do.

I have learnt that we should never ever give out our personnel information online like your address, your name, your email, password or your phone number. Remember, everyone who posts you a message on a game is a stranger even if you have been talking to them for a very long time.

I have learnt that if you have been talking with someone you don’t know do not lie to them about your personal information just block them. If you have seen a link, do not press on it if you don’t know what it is. If you see something you do not want to see tell a parent or carer and they wont let you see it again. You can always rely on didgi on the school website.

Thank you Mr Antcliffe  for putting this on the blog. This what I have learnt – you should never lie about your age online when you are filling in things – but there’s no need to share your exact date of birth with people. And if anything happens to you on the internet you should go straight to someone but always go and speak to an adult or a parent.

I  learnt that internet can be very dangerous if you’re not careful with who you are speaking to. If you you see a nasty comment either block the chat or tell a grown up to sort it out. Also if you don’t know somebody and they want to know your personal things, you should keep it personal and never tell them. If you do they could come to your house or school. Also if you know that you really know the person, like it is your mum or family, you could tell them but I am sure they would already know.

If any thing upsets you tell an adult and don’t meet up with someone you don’t know because they can take you away. It could also give you a virus and your gadget could break just for texting a stranger you do not know. Don’t give them an image of yourself either, that could still lead to terrible danger. You could also keep the text for evidence to the police and then you would of done the right thing.

    Remember to…..
    ZIP IT!
zip your personal things to keep safe
    BLOCK IT!
block a stranger you would try to speak to you to keep safe
    FLAG IT!
tell a trusted adult or someone you could trust to sort the issue out
    STAY SAFE!
