Today, Year 5 went to the CLC where we began by learning about Raspberry Pi. We were then given several challenges to complete using Python.
Then… we hacked into Minecraft and even created our own rainbow roads!

My favourite moment is when we got to do are first hack (which was making automatic diamonds place anywhere!).
It was really fun running around with rainbow wool blocks tracing my steps, even in midair! Hacking in Python was really tricky having to complete all if it 100%, it was absolutely amazing the fact just one to five sentences can change a complete different program. I think the rainbow wool traces/steps were the best!
It was really good fun and I would recommend something like this for you to do sometime and I really had fun (I never hacked before so it was hard.)
I enjoyed the clc so much! It was tons of fun. My favourite part was where we hacked Minecraft. There was a certain code that you had to type into python to hack Minecraft. Python is were you can tell the computer some information and it can do some really cool stuff. I also learnt how to put a computer together so it would turn on.
There was a computer called Raspberry Pi. It was such a small computer that you could fit it in your hand. The screen is just a screen. The thing inside the screen is called a computer.
In Minecraft, there was a message that you cold put into python and wherever you go in Minecraft, block follow you everywhere.
I really enjoyed the trip to the clc because we done amazing coding and played mincraft !
I thought that it was the best trip to the C.L.C I have ever been on with the school!
My favourite part when we went to the CLC was when we played Minecraft because I liked discovering different blocks and deciding where to put them. We had lots of fun at the CLC!

I learnt that the screen is not just the computer it is the raspberry pi is actually doing some of the work while the screen just shows you what’s happening.It was very exciting because I have never assembled a computer before so it was very confusing
I loved going on the trip because I enjoyed playing Minecraft. I also liked hacking it.
My favourite part was when we got to have free time on minecraft and also when our hack worked because it was a tnt hack and it places tnt wherever you go
it was so fun i really enjoyed it first of all playing minecraft is so fun then we get to HACK mineraft so fun! i loved it i would recommend to try yourself trust me yyou will absaloutely lover it 100%

I really liked doing the hack where you make the blocks follow you because it is easy to find were you were before.
My favourite part of the trip was when we learnt how to hack Minecraft and used our knowledge to create multi coloured blocks that followed you everywhere, even when we where flying. My second favorurite part was learning to die on creative .
I most enjoyed the part where we found out how to die on a creative world in Minecraft, by just going down.
I loved going to the CLC because we go there every year from year 1 so we no it so well. My favourite part of it was the rainbow roads and the mushrooms. I made a star in the sky with blocks and we also made a mushroom extravaganza. As well as that we made a diamond house, sand castle, water fall, tnt maze, anvil maze, tree house and tree and mushroom farm.
I really like going to the CLC because the people there are always so lovely to me and my group and others. They always help me out and make me laugh aswell. I love going to the CLC!
I worked with Harriet and Catherine. My favourite part of that day, was having free time to play Minecraft. We did coding, hacking (lunch).Then, we made Minecraft talk. Finally, we had free time on Minecraft, and then we went back to school.A few minutes later, we all went home (some people had club like ME).
My favourite part of the trip was when me Heidi and Tito coded wrong and instead of diamond following us mushroom were????
I loved going to the CLC it was so fun and my favourite part was when we had to turn on the computer by our selves
It was so fun hacking into minecraft my favourite part was when I hacked into minecraft and mushroom dropped onto the floor right behind but before the trip I was excited and I usually play minecraft on holidays ????
My favourite part of the CLC was when we did our first hack (making diamonds follow us). Imran and Freddie were really good at hacking and they taught me how to play in the laptop. I really enjoyed the whole trip. I would definitely recommend this to people at any age as it is really fun and a good experience.
This trip was really enjoyable we used python on Mine craft and it was so much fun i would like to do it again sometime
I really enjoyed going to the CLC because we was taught how to hack onto the Minecraft game. It was really challenging to use the computers and to learn about coding, but by the end of the day I mastered Minecraft. This was one of the most exciting trips we have ever been on. Which has awakened my love of Minecraft.
My favourite part was the part when me ,Taym and Alfie made our character go very high up in the air and then we made him fall.
I really enjoyed this trip because we got to hack into Minecraft and use a raspberry pi. I really liked the challenges we were given as they were challenging but not impossible. One of my favourite parts was when my group accidentally typed in a wrong number, and instead of diamonds following us, mushrooms went wherever we were going! I also enjoyed the time at the end where we got to play freely on Minecraft. (I also enjoyed eating my packed lunch!) 🙂
What I really enjoyed at C.L.C was when I made a TNT tower and got to blow it up too
It was the best trip ever! My favorite part was when we got free time and got to just play minecraft.
