Autumn Week 6 – Victorian Pottery

This half term, we have been looking at Victorian pottery. Using Victorian designs as inspiration, we created our own piece of pottery using clay. Once they had dried, we then painted them using repeating patterns.

Beautiful creations – well done Year 5.

I loved painting our Victorian pottery because we had a variety of colours to choose from to paint it and I loved the intricate patterns on our pottery.

I also enjoyed making our pottery because we got to shape it and we really had lots and lots of fun!

I really enjoyed making and painting our Victoria pots because a brilliant potter came in and showed us excellent ways to make our pots. I also enjoyed making our horses with clay and painting them.
