Year 5 stars of the week: Albert and Caitlyn
This week, we have begun our topic ‘Mapping’.
Firstly, we looked at features on a map and discussed why certain symbols were used to represent them. Then we had a look at famous mountain ranges and located them in different countries using our atlases. This has really increased our understanding of the world.
We look forward to next week when we shall be learning about 16 point compasses!
I was excited to hear that we was doing mapping in Geography so I could take all my skills I had learnt home and use them when I o to the woods/forest.
