Year 5 Stars of the Week: All of Year 5
What a brilliant half term we have had in Year 5. On Monday we began our week with a trip to the Chocolate Museum where we made our own Maya-style chocolate bar! Chocolate without sugar tastes very different to the chocolate that we are used to but we learnt a lot about the importance of knowing where your chocolate is from. Did you know that the Maya used to put chilli in their chocolate?
On Tuesday and Wednesday, we held our DT exhibition where we had the opportunity to show off our marvellous moving marionette puppets that we had made in class. If you want to know how to make them, then just read our instructions in our Extended Writing books!
