Stars of the Week: Dawud and Beatrix
This week, Year 5 have been learning how to separate materials that have been mixed together. We separated water and sand using filtration paper and a funnel, we separated rice and paper clips using magnets and we are separating water and sand through the process of evaporation but this is an experiment that we will need to observe over time!
Year 5 drew accurate diagrams to demonstrate their knowledge of how to separate materials.
Next week Year 5 will be learning about who Florence Nightingale was and why she was an important figure in the Victorian period.
