Geometry

This week, we are looking at Geometry. Lots of you have found it very interesting indeed, and everybody has learnt a lot! As so many children in the class are asking excellent mathematical questions about Geometry, I wanted to share this link with you, where you can find out more, practice the skills that we have learnt, and extend you knowledge:

There are great activities and clear explanations to revise your knowledge.

What did you read about?

How did you do in the activities?

Is there anything that you would like extra help with?

Hi guys! You look like you are having a lot of fun. Remember to enjoy your Year 6 experience because it doesn’t last forever. Pay attention to Ms Fullana and Mr and Mrs Scott – the things they say can really help you in secondary school. Mr Scott helped me get a level 6 in maths, as a result I am in the first set for maths (along with: Marjaan and Laura). Ms Fullana is very good at Literacy and can help you understand how to write amazing stories. Also remember to keep your handwriting neat. Always try your best and try your hardest to stay out of trouble (it can be very hard sometimes) and when it comes to your SATs remember everything they taught/teach you from September all the way to May. I hope you get to do an amazing end of year production like we did and always respect the teachers so they will respect you and listen to what they say. Just have fun and be happy!  But remember: respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves you, grows you or makes you happy.

Exactly what Christabel said – enjoy yourselves, ” It doesn’t last forever,” enjoy the year 6 experience, because when you leave for secondary, it’s going to be very different – but great too!
