Cathedral Summer Reading Challenge

We are very excited to let you know about the Cathedral School Summer Reading Challenge 2023!

We would like as many children to take part in this challenge as possible – all you have to do is read 6 books over the summer. Then, once you have read each book, answer a short question about it in your booklet. When you return to school in September, please hand your completed booklet to your new class teacher and you will then receive a certificate and prize!

Please note that for children in Nursery and Reception, and for some in KS1, this can also be a shared book that you enjoy together with your parents. It is extremely important to read regularly as this is where children learn new vocabulary. We know that Cathedral School is full of fantastic readers so we hope that you will choose to take part in our Spectacular Summer Reading Challenge!
