Dear Parents,

Harvest Festival

Next week we will be marking Harvest Festival at Cathedral School. We are collecting food donations for the Southwark Foodbank. If you would like to donate some food to the foodbank please see the list below. At the moment, Southwark Foodbank have enough beans and pasta and do not need any more. They have provided us with a list so that we can donate foods that are needed.

Closure of The Marlborough

Marlborough Playground will be closed from Tuesday 17th October until the end of March 2018.
This is in order to start the construction of a Sports Garden for the local community. Please note that you will no longer be able to use the Marlborough as a cut-through which may add extra time to your journey. If your child is in Year 5 or 6 and walks to school on their own please make sure you have planned an alternative route with them and that they leave home earlier.

This week all classes have been busy designing and making transport-themed creations, please see class blogs for more details. Work from each class will be celebrated during the DT Expo which will take place in the school hall on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th October. You are very welcome to visit the DT Expo during Parents Evening.
