Issue #14 – 19/01/18 – School Motto Projects

[heading]School Motto Projects[/heading]

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for the time and effort that you have put into the School Motto Projects at the end of last term. The outcomes have been incredibly reflective and thought provoking.
It has been so interesting looking through the projects and seeing how the task has been approached, with so many creative and original ideas, capturing the motto beautifully and in so many different ways. We have had models, videos, collages, books, posters, power point presentations, songs, poems, paintings and much more!

The feedback from the children has been extremely positive and they have enjoyed sharing their work with their peers and teachers. We have made a display in the school corridor to celebrate the work and there will be further examples of the projects on the school website.

Staff and children have enjoyed learning about what 'life in all it's fullness' means to the school community including:

  • helping others to fulfill their potential
  • communicating with God
  • appreciating family and friends
  • knowing what to do when life brings challenge
  • being part of a community
  • using God-given talents
  • knowing how to be express joy
  • being thankful
  • reading the Bible

Thank you once again for fully embracing the opportunity to work on such a special project with your children.

Many thanks,

Nicola Leighton
