Issue #23 – 12/05/17 – Cathedral School Maths Challenge Week 2

[heading]Cathedral School Maths Challenge[/heading]

Dear Parents,

We have been very impressed by the submissions for the Cathedral Maths Challenge, with children from across the school solving problems and applying their Maths skills. In Celebration Assembly this morning, we shared how some children solved the problems from last week.

Here are some of the entries from across the school.

You can see more of the entries on our maths blog at http://www.cathedralprimaryschool.com/maths/.

Here is this weeks challenge. Don't forget if you would like a paper copy, you can find one in the office, next to the CMC box.

Best Wishes,

Miss Godsell
Assistant Headteacher

Governors are launching ‘Cathedral Parents’ and invite all parents to get involved.

The aim of ‘Cathedral Parents’ is to provide community spirit, whole school community events, fundraising, information events for parents and connection between parents and the school. ‘Cathedral Parents’ is a positive, collaborative, contribution to the wider school community.

Give up a little of your time, skill or know how. No contribution is too small or too great.

Come along to the first ‘Cathedral Parents’ meeting on Tuesday in the school hall at 2:30 on Tuesday 16th May. All welcome!
