This term, our new class text is The Blue Balloon by Mick Inkpen. A little boy finds a balloon that can do many wonderful things, including taking him on a trip to the moon!
We are learning all about space, and have made aliens, jetpacks, and flying saucers to help us on our adventures.
We are also learning more about balloons, and how air can be used to push things. We made rocket balloons and had a race!
Nursery thought of reasons why Miss Dace’s balloon won the first race, and then we found out what happened when Sara stuck her balloon on backwards. What do you think would happen if we stuck the balloons on sideways?
