Stars of the Week: Masroor and Rosa
Well done to both children for showing lots of excitement and enthusiasm in our topic about People Who Help Us. They have loved being firefighters in our fire station role play and really enjoyed the visit from the fire fighters yesterday.
This week Nursery have started thinking about ‘People Who Help Us’. On Thursday we had a visit from the Firefighters from the local Fire Station.
The firefighters told us all about their job and how they help people. They can help with lots of things like if someone is stuck, if an animal needs rescuing and of course putting our fires. When they visited we got to sit in the fire truck, try on the helmets and spray the hose! Everyone in Nursery loved spraying the hose!
The Firefighters told us to let our parents know that if we don’t have a smoke alarm in our house, if you give them a call, they can come to our houses and install one for free.
