Yesterday in Nursery we learnt all about Shrove Tuesday and why this is an important time for Christians. We learnt new words including ‘Lent’ and ‘Ash Wednesday’.
We had an exciting morning, making our own pancakes and eating them at snack time! We all helped to pour in the ingredients and mix it all together. Some of us had raisin pancakes, and some of us had lemon and sugar. They were delicious!
