Next week during International Week, Reception will be learning all about India.

What do you know about India?

On Monday when we arrived at school, we were amazed to find that there were 4 beautiful butterflies that had hatched out of their chrysalises.

Today in the beautiful sunshine, we released the butterflies to go and live their lives in the wild.

We have loved watching the tiny caterpillars grow, spin their chrysalis and emerge as amazing butterflies!

Last week we planted seeds, we observed them carefully every day watching how they have all grown! Here is what they look like now.

Today during fruit and milk, we sampled some of the cress. Here are some of the things that we thought as we used our sense of taste.
“It was really yummy.”
“It was spicy, tasty and I wanted more.”
“It tasted spicy.”
“It tasted like peri peri.”
“It was really really spicy, but so nice. I want it 1000 times.”
“It was lovely.”
