Stars of the week: Kirstin and Rory
This week, Reception have been learning all about Bonfire Night. We learned the story of Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot, made fireworks pictures and wrote the sounds that fireworks make like pop, bang and whoosh! The children also enjoyed lots of firework themed activities around the classroom including a bonfire night party in the small world, writing numbers in glitter flakes and adding black paint and glitter to the water tray to make it look like fireworks in the sky.
