Today we held an assembly about harvest and Fruits of the Spirit. We discussed how once again the school will be assisting the Manna Day Centre.

Last year families were able to donate any food stuffs they liked, but this year the centre have requested specific items which will best help them.

  • I think that giving the Manna Day Center some things is a really good idea; it relates to “Life in all it’s Fullness” for some of you who don’t know it is our school motto. It is really helpful because it is like us planting seeds of joy, happiness, love, trust, friendship and faith. This plays a big part in our life, we are happy to give to others. They do say it is better to give than to receive, and that also plays a big part in our school. If we give onto others they will give to us, and we will be grateful that they do that for us. It is important to be kind to others like we are kind to the Manna day Center. Manna Center if you are reading this I am glad that you are grateful to have us help you.

  • Giving food, clothes and other things to the Manna Centre is a really good deed we are committing; it is also a good idea because it relates to life in all it’s fullness (our school motto). How it relates is: we are helping the unfortunate live life to the full by giving them food and clothing, which is meeting up to their rights of having food and clothing. There is a saying which goes treat others how you would like to be treated, and if we do this we are treating them how we would like to be treated not just for the blessing because we want to help the unfortunate.
