Stars of the week: Cruz and Jacob A
In English this week we have been planning our dragon stories. We have been learning about how adjectives and similes can describe characters and settings. Next week we will begin writing them.
In Maths we have been counting in 2, 5, 10s and even 3s. This is helping us to think about our times tables. Next week in maths we will be focusing on fluency with addition and subtraction.
We have been experimenting with drawing with scissors instead of pencils, in art this week. This is inspired by Matisse’s artwork. It has helped us to build our skills for our final collage piece, which we will be starting next week.
