Spring 2 – Week 5

Stars of the week: Teniola & Filip

Well done Class 5 on all the assessments you did this week. You worked so hard and should be very proud of all the effort you put in.

We have started planning our coil pots in art, which we will be creating on Monday.

The biome presentations began on Thursday and will be finished today (Friday). I have been blown away by the team work and professionalism the class has shown in these projects. Well done Class 5!

For this project, we were given a biome to research in our groups and we had to make a poster and a presentation. My group was given the Marine Saltwater Biome and I think even though we didn’t win (grasslands did), we still did quite good and worked together very well.

This was so fun to present to the whole of class 5! We had to listen to everyone’s ideas and we had to make a poster and a whole power point without the help of Miss Campbells

All those assessments were so tiring! Luckily, we had the biome presentations to cool down a bit. We all tried our best and I am so proud of our group. However, we had trouble remembering our lines, but we got there in the end. I liked the humour and that made up for it. We also got some information wrong, but we just turned it into humour and Samantha bravely owned up. Everyone did an amazing job!

This week reflected teamwork makes the dream work because when we did the coil pots lots of our classmates helped each other as some of us thought some people were better at the technique of rolling the small coils. Then after that we did our biome presentation which took ALOT of teamwork such a fun week.

I like the way that we did a presentation on tundra. We were in groups so each group had to do a different presentation. I like how we had to present them to the WHOLE class.
