Last week in Class 1 we were learning all about how exclamation marks are used in our writing. We practiced adding exclamation marks to our own sentences and learnt how to change the expression in our voice when we come across them in our reading books. Take a look at some of our work.

Challenge- At home or in the book corner at school, choose a book and count how many exclamation marks you can find!

This half term we are learning all about the seasons autumn and winter in Science! Last week in our lesson, we went on a leaf hunt in the playground and each of us collected a leaf. We then spoke about why leaves start to change colour and fall of trees during autumn, then each of us completed a leaf rubbing. Take a look at our photos!
