Many thanks to all the parents who joined us to share in our Year 5 Collective Worship yesterday, it was great to share our work on Olympic Values with you. We thought about how we can use the Olympic values in our own lives. Here are a few of the highlights, more to follow shortly.
Remember the Olympic Values are:
Respect: fair play; knowing one’s own limits; and taking care of one’s health and the environment
Excellence: how to give the best of oneself, on the field of play or in life; taking part; and progressing according to one’s own objectives
Friendship: how, through sport, to understand each other despite any differences
