Mental Maths practice

The link on this page takes you to 5 Mental Maths tests that you can use to help you to practice your mental maths skills. This will help you to improve your scores on our weekly tests.

How to use the tests

The tests have the answers next to each question. Ask someone at home to read the questions to you and then fill in the answers on the answer sheet. Make sure you stick to the timings on the test (only take 5 seconds for the 5 Second Questions) and focus on any questions that you get incorrect so you can improve your score the next time.

I think this website is very helpful because it encourages us to do well and it makes our mental maths skills better and this can affect the scores in our tests (0-20). This mental maths website is great for children in KS1 and KS2 because if you are struggling with improving your scores this will be this is one of the best websites to improve your mental maths skills.

In our class we have encouraged the people who are struggling in Mental maths tests to go on that website and since then the scores have been rising from 8 to 12 to 18 and to 20! We (Class 5) believe that this website will help people around the world in mental maths and in a space of 3 weeks, everybody will be getting 20 out of 20. Thank you Mr Antcliffe for this amazing website!

I think that the mental maths website is very helpful because it helps you to know what kind of questions there is going to be in our tests. It also encourages us to practice so we can up level our scores in maths. If every body used these websites in the world it would be like we were in a maths world!
As a school I think that if we find loads of other websites for us to practice on e.g Literacy, Science and many more our levels would increase up really high when we would do our work. I think this is a really good idea so everybody needs to get up now and practice on websites that will help us in the world.
