This term, our book is Castles by Colin Thompson. Nursery have been busy building a castle of their own, and this week, a giant moved in! We looked at Jack and the Beanstalk, and read the book Shhh! by Sally Grindley, and thought about how we would describe such a terrible giant. Nursery had a very busy International Week learning about Brazil. We learnt about the Amazon Rainforest and Carnival celebrations.

The children also enjoyed teaching the rest of the class words they know in other languages, including Portuguese, Spanish, French and Polish.

We took a virtual trip to Brazil using the green screen!
