Our CLC visit!

Despite the rain, class 1 had a brilliant trip to London’s Connected Learning Centre (CLC) on Friday. Our session was all about exploring games and how they are designed. The children discussed their favourite games to play on ipads and game consoles then had to explore which aspects of the game they enjoyed and why. Class 1 were then lucky enough to design their own game on an individual apple mac which consisted of thinking of a name for their game, designing goodies and baddies and solving any problems that could arise if someone was to play their game. It was great to see children developing their creative thinking and computer skills! We had a great day, take a look at some of our pictures.

    Hi there.

Harris was really keen on the game builder at this visit – I believe it was from

Does the school have access to this – can we get a password to access this tool?

    Thanks,

    Craig.
