Last week we took the train to Dulwich Picture Gallery and attended the Southwark Poetry Festival. We acted out a poem from Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. It was really fun! Take a look! Shakespeare wrote lots of books, can you name any?

I know quite a few plays by Shakespeare, but there are two which are rather special to me: Romeo and Juliet is special because my mum has the same name as Juliet in the play! The other is the Tempest and that is special because I am named after Miranda, a character in the play! Are any of you named after characters from Shakespeare?
