Below is an outline of how to learn, and apply knowledge of, the 10 times table:
- Learn the 10 times table in order, e.g. 0 x 10 = 0, 1 x 10 = 10, etc.
- Recite the 10 times table in a random order, 9 x 10 = 90, 10 x 3 = 30, etc.
- Learn related division facts, e.g. 40 / 10 = 4 and 40 / 4 = 10.
- Learn related fraction facts, e.g. 1/10 of 60 is 6 and 1/6 of 60 is 10.
