In science this term, we have been learning about everyday materials and their uses.
Follow these links to the BBC to find out about where different materials come from, and how they are turned into everyday objects.
Find out how a window pane is made.
Find out how a woollen scarf is made.
Find out how a biscuit tin is made.
Which other materials would you like to find out about?
Why do you think these materials are used to make each object?

When I was doing science I went on curious cat and I was watching how they make biscuit tins. So when it finished I wrote the steps. So first the steel comes from the rocks and the factory cuts and presses into its normal shape.
I learnt about materials that the materials can be made aut of difrent materials. Some of us have learnt how to make different matirials like wool, biscuit tins, stain glass windows. It was very fun.
